Christian Kortum

Christian is a landscape photographer who lives in Northwest Germany.

He says: “Photography is like life : a permanent process of learning and exercise. Every session is experience. And I have given up judging between "good" and "bad". Making experiences is just great and vital for personal growth and evolution. The world is what we think the world to be. So I prefer colour to dull and vibrant to stiff. It does not need a lot to be happy. A view though my camera helps me to learn that every day. Photography offers the best mindfulness-training I can imagine. You learn to make use of your conscious mind and train to focus. When you have switched off the auto-pilot you face a new reality.”
